THE 2022 Federal Election has been called for May 21 – and I am seeking your support to be re-elected as your Federal Member for Bradfield, part of our experienced Liberal National team.

This election presents a clear choice with very real consequences for Australia.

Our Liberal National Government steered Australia through a once-in-a-century pandemic, delivering a successful nation-wide vaccination program, and maintaining one of the lowest COVID death rates amongst western countries.

We offer a continuation of the strong and stable economic management which has seen unemployment fall to 4.0%, the lowest level in 48 years, as our economy rebounds strongly from the pandemic.

Our Liberal National Government has a clear plan to continue that growth, making our economy even stronger. Our plan for a strong economy will deliver more jobs; support businesses to invest more and employ more people with measures like the instant asset write-off (with some 26,100 Bradfield businesses able to benefit) and see major infrastructure projects delivered Australia-wide, including the new Western Sydney International Airport and the Snowy Hydro 2.0 project which will deliver a major boost in renewable energy. 

Of course, a strong economy is vital so we can the fund essential services that Australians rely on, such as health, aged care, education and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (with spending in all of these areas at record levels under our Liberal National Government.)

In a tense geopolitical environment, our Liberal National Government has moved decisively to keep Australians safe, increasing defence spending to more than 2 per cent of GDP – including almost 10 billion dollars for stronger cyber defences. 

Our country still faces many challenges and there is much more to be done.

Now is not the time to take a risk on an unproven alternative.

A vote for Paul Fletcher in Bradfield is a vote for an experienced team with a clear plan for a strong economy and a stronger future for Australia.
