Changes to The Hills Police Area Command

THE Hills Police Area Command will no longer cover parts of Parramatta LGA - such as Northmead, Oatlands, and parts of North Rocks, so officers will be better able to focus their efforts on their more immediate surroundings in Castle Hill, Dural, Pennant Hills and Cherrybrook which had previously been covered by Ryde PAC.

The reason for this is so that local police can deal with local problems. Where officers are better connected with their communities and know and understand their communities, they are better able to work with and serve those communities.
