Petition to Remove Demountables at Cammeray Public School
1 min read

Member for Willoughby Tim James launched a petition for upgrades to Cammeray Public School.

The petition implores the NSW State government to invest in major upgrades to the facilities at Cammeray Public School and develop a masterplan that would substantially improve the learning spaces and playground.

‘I’ve heard from the school community and leadership that whilst much has been achieved at the school in recent years, the school needs a substantial upgrade to its facilities, so our kids continue to have access to the best opportunities into the future,’ says Tim James.

The petition seeks to remove the demountable spaces at Cammeray Public, and invest in more permanent solutions, and upgrade the school hall to be more useful and intentional.

‘It’s not time to let up. The state government must continue investing in our future,’ says Tim James. ‘I was proud to be part of the former Liberal government that made record investment into our local public schools, including delivering new schools such as at ANZAC Park Public.’
