The cafe is located next to Miramare Gardens, an elegant establishment that offers wedding, event, and boutique accommodations. Surrounded by four acres of beautiful gardens, Sandstone Cafe enjoys a serene setting that adds to its charm.
Finding the perfect 'anything' is tricky. The Post attended for lunch and found contenders for the perfect steak sandwich and fish and chips. Both dishes in Australia are typical cult heroes on restaurant menus across the country. If you can perfect the essentials, you're doing something very right.
The steak sandwich, slathered in sweet, caramelised onion, provolone cheese and smoky BBQ sauce, stuffed in crunchy Turkish break, was hearty and everything you'd expect.
The fish and chips, known for its humble nature, was also a knockout staple. Take fresh and crispy battered fish partnered with in-house tartare sauce. The presentation alone on the plate was enough to win over diners.
Both dishes were the perfect combination of tradition and individuality.
