JANINE Kitson has announced she will stand as an Independent in the upcoming NSW Election for the seat of Davidson - completing the 'Independent Arc' across northern Sydney.

Independent candidates are standing from Sydney Harbour to Palm Beach in the Liberal held NSW seats of North Shore, Lane Cove, Willoughby, Wakehurst, Manly and Pittwater.  

"My platform is to tackle the climate crisis through implementing 'on the ground' renewable energy projects, stopping overdevelopment, implementing stronger environmental laws and ending pork barrelling.” Remarked Kitson.

Janine Kitson stood as an Independent local government candidate in 2000 and 2004.  More recently she stood as an Independent for Bradfield in the Federal election in May 2022.  Bradfield achieved one of the biggest swings against a Liberal candidate in the nation.
