KU-RING-GAI’S young residents are invited to enter a photo competition focusing on the positives in life.
The competition is open between 17 July and 4 September to all young people aged 12 – 24 years living in northern Sydney.
Entrants to the competition are invited to take photos of the people, places or things around them that lift their mood, along with a brief description explaining why.
All entries will be judged by a panel of young people, with a selection of photographs professionally printed and publicly exhibited during Mental Health Month between 1 October and 31 October.
Photos entered will be displayed in NSW Health and Council facilities across northern Sydney. with the tagline Need a Lift?
The prize for the overall winner is a $350 Westfield voucher, with an overall runner up awarded a $250 voucher. There will also be three age categories (12-15 years, 16-18 years & 19-24 years) where selected winners will receive a $150 Westfield voucher.
A Peoples’ Choice award of a $250 voucher will be offered through an online poll at www.pollunit.com/polls/2023needaliftbetween 1 October and 31 October. All eligible entries will be posted on the same page.
