IT’S ‘business as usual’ for surrounding businesses whilst the Norhern Beaches Council completes major pipe repairs in the eastern end of The Corso.

Work is in progress to replace some 30 meters of collapsed clay pipes with new concrete ones, businesses are still trying to draw in customers.

Fencing is in place to ensure public safety however pedestrians can still walk The Corso and access businesses with a small diversion.

The works will include excavation and replacement of collapsed pipes, installation of new concrete pipes and reconstruction of drainage pits.

We’ll also be restoring paving, two water features, drinking bubbler, circular seating pods, electrical works, and palm trees.

Council anticipate that works will be completed by August/September weather permitting.
