The BOBBO: Sunday 26 March - Still time to Register
2 min read

NOT long to go till The Bobbin Head Cycle Classic is off and running, but it’s still not too late to book your spot as a rider. This much-loved, well-organised annual community event, and major fundraiser for Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury (H2H), is a calendar highlight you won’t want to miss. Offering 4 different courses to suit all levels, the Bobbo is both a fun day of activity for the family as well as a spectacularly scenic and challenging course for more serious riders.

Apart from the physical and mental-health benefits of being part of The Bobbo, and the opportunity to support Lifeline’s life-saving work in the community, there are even more reasons this year to sign up as a participant in this iconic bike ride.

For the first time in its 12-year history, The Bobbo is offering free training programs to download, all provided by the event’s official training partner, HAFG. Each program is designed to increase your fitness in the lead-up to the event, as well as prepare your body for the challenges it will face cycling your designated distance on the day.

At the completion of your ride, you’ll get to treat yourself to a well-earned stretch with Flex Body in the Bobbo Village. No matter what time of the day you finish, Flex Body will be ready to help cool your muscles down in a productive way, to ensure you give yourself the best post-ride care possible.

There will also be live entertainment at the Bobbo Village, where you can enjoy a BBQ lunch; light refreshments will be offered at pitstops along the routes. With rider safety a top priority, medical and first aid assistance will be on hand. What’s more, you’ll be cheered on like heroes along the way by our sensational volunteer helpers, and you’ll get the chance to win some amazing prizes.

So what are you waiting for? Hop on your bike and get yourself registered for the Bobbo today! You’ll be part of a fantastic community event that offers all riders social, physical and psychological rewards, as well as supporting Lifeline, for people in crisis.
