Australian Decorative & Fine Arts Society - Ku-ring-gai -Contemporary Australian Metalwork

You are welcome to join members of ADFAS (Australian Decorative & Fine Arts Society – Ku-ring-gai) to hear and see “Contemporary Australian Metalwork” about the excellent work produced by Australians.The lecture by Grace Cochrane is based on a presentation in England in 2005 organised by the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths to consider the contemporary collecting of silver.
The diversity of metals used was notable and examples are given of objects produced both earlier and in current metalwork.
To be held on Wednesday 21st, September 2022 at 10.30 am and 6.00 pm at the Zenith Theatre, corner of Railway and McIntosh Streets, Chatswood.
Refreshments are served after the 1-hour lecture.
The charge is $30 p/p
