When you have views of the Harbour Bridge and the iconic Lunar Park as your backdrop, diners expect a premier dining experience.

The Kirribilli Club, founded in 1946, is home to the bustling restaurant ‘Lavender By The Bay', ideal for relaxing while enjoying our stunning Harbour Bridge views. The seasonal menu offers fresh and diverse meals to meet everyone's taste buds.

The Kirribilli Club's Lavender By The Bay restaurant possesses the most stunning view in Syd-ney, and the food is just as impressive.

Showcasing a new and improved menu at the end of October, the Club boasts quality seafood, vegetarian, and classic favourites. Although now smaller in what to offer, the menu is still packed with unique options, with a shift in focusing on quality and authenticity.

We tried the crispy and flavourful arancini and bruschetta appetisers, served with wood-fired bread, fresh diced tomatoes, and a tangy balsamic glaze. It was the perfect share plate to get our taste buds dancing.

If you're a fan of seafood, you'll be spoiled for choice with glowing menu options. Sydney is known for its fresh seafood, and the restaurant amplifies that reputation, offering king prawns, rock oysters, and a Lavender Bay seafood platter.

For my main course, I had the grilled Barramundi, presented beautifully on a plate placed on a bed of crushed potato, creme fraiche, asparagus, and Capsicum coulis. Every bite had me want-ing just a little more, not to mention finding myself wishing I had the recipe for the coulis.

We also tried the Kirribilli beef burger, a classic Australian dish. Though it may seem simple, the burger and chips were both done to perfection, with excellent taste and presentation. If you can nail the simple menu items, you're doing something incredibly right.

Overall, it is a fantastic dining experience, with food that will get you grinning from ear to ear as you look over a million-dollar view. Rally your family and friends this summer to enjoy what one of Sydney's most iconic venues has to offer.
