15 Storeys proposed for central Turramurra
1 min read

A PROPOSAL has been put forward in the 14th of February Ku-ring-gai Council Meeting for Council to consider reclassifying the council owned part of 1,1A and 3A Kissing Point Road (known as the Turramurra Plaza site) from community to operational land.

Once reclassified the plans proposes that the maximum permissible height be amended from 17.5m (5 storeys) to 50m (15 storeys), aswell as amending the floor space ratio from 2:1 to 4.2:1.

The recommendation for council is that the council resolve not to submit the planning proposal to the Minister for a Gateway Determination in accordance with section 3.34 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

Due to our growing population, the community will have no doubt noticed the many developments of high-rise buildings across the North Shore
